Genuine Nissan Glow Plug Nut - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Glow Plug Nut - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

This is the small nut that secures the power feed wire or glow rail onto the terminal of your glow plug. It's a critical component for ensuring your diesel engine starts correctly. These nuts are notoriously easy to drop and lose down the side of an engine during a service. They can also suffer from corrosion or stripped threads, which creates a poor electrical connection to the glow plug.

If this nut is loose or missing, the corresponding glow plug will not heat up. This leads to difficult cold starts, rough idling, and excessive white smoke from the exhaust until the cylinder gets up to temperature.
