Genuine Nissan Heater Core - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Genuine Nissan Heater Core - THIN - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60

This Genuine Nissan Heater Core is located within the heater box assembly, deep inside the dashboard of your vehicle. It functions as a small radiator that uses hot engine coolant to heat the air blown into the passenger cabin, providing warmth and demisting capabilities for your windscreen. Replacement is typically required when the original unit becomes blocked, clogged, or develops a leak due to age or corrosion.

Ignoring a faulty heater core can lead to a complete loss of cabin heating, which is a major comfort and safety issue in colder weather. A leaking core can saturate your vehicle's carpet with coolant, create a persistent, sweet smell inside the cabin, and cause windows to constantly fog up, severely impairing visibility. A significant leak can also lead to critical engine coolant loss, risking engine overheating and severe mechanical damage.

NOTE: There are 2 different heater cores in a GQ, this is the THINNER one that is 50mm thick.

Please let us know what thickness your heater core is and supply us with a VIN before you order so we can make sure this is the correct one for you. As no returns will be given for incorrect choice.

Note: The entire dashboard needs to be removed to replace the Heater Core.
