Genuine Nissan Electronic Thermostat Assembly VK56 - Nissan Patrol Y62

This is a Genuine Nissan Electronic Thermostat Assembly, a critical cooling system component for the Nissan Patrol Y62. Located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine, this assembly acts as the brain of the cooling system. It electronically controls the flow of coolant to ensure your VK56 engine operates at its precise, optimal temperature, whether you're on the highway or tackling tough off-road tracks.

A thermostat needs replacing when it fails to open or close at the correct temperature, or if its electronic sensor malfunctions due to age, corrosion, or internal wear. The signs of a faulty unit are hard to miss: engine overheating or running unusually cold, an erratic temperature gauge, poor fuel efficiency, or a check engine light on the dash. Replacing a failed thermostat is a straightforward job for an experienced DIYer or a qualified mechanic.
