Genuine Nissan Bonnet Insulator TB48 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

This is a Genuine Nissan bonnet insulator, designed specifically for the Nissan Patrol Y61 GU4 series fitted with the TB48 engine and a bonnet without a scoop. Mounted directly to the underside of the bonnet, its primary job is to shield your bonnet's paintwork from the intense heat generated by the engine, while also helping to reduce engine noise inside the cabin.

After years of heat cycles, the original factory insulator can become brittle, starting to crumble and fall apart. A damaged or completely missing insulator leaves your paint vulnerable to fading, cracking, or even bubbling. This Genuine replacement restores that critical protection, ensuring a perfect factory fit and original-spec performance.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Quality: Manufactured to OEM specifications for perfect fitment, heat resistance, and durability.
• Bonnet Paint Protection: Provides a vital thermal barrier to protect your bonnet's paint from engine heat damage.
• Noise Reduction: Helps to insulate the cabin from engine noise for a quieter driving experience.
• Direct-Fit Installation: Designed as a direct replacement for the original part, making for a straightforward DIY job.
• Installation Note: Replacement clips may be required to secure the new insulator, especially if the old ones are brittle or break during removal.
