Genuine Nissan Paper Type Air Filter - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

This is a Genuine Nissan dry-type paper air filter element for Nissan Patrol diesel models. It is located inside the air box, found on the passenger side of the engine bay, and its purpose is to stop dust, dirt, and other contaminants from entering your engine. As a critical service item, the air filter becomes clogged with contaminants from daily driving and especially from off-road use.

A blocked filter restricts airflow, which is essential for maintaining engine performance and fuel economy. Regular replacement with a quality Genuine part ensures your engine is protected from abrasive particles that can cause significant wear or catastrophic failure. This filter is a direct-fit replacement for the original equipment.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Part: Manufactured to OEM specifications for correct fitment, filtration performance, and longevity. Cheaper aftermarket filters can use inferior media that restricts airflow or fails, allowing harmful dust to damage your engine.
• High-Efficiency Filtration Media: Effectively traps harmful particles while maintaining the optimal airflow required for power and efficiency under harsh Australian conditions.
• Maintains Engine Performance: A clean, high-quality filter ensures your engine is not starved of air, helping to maintain power and fuel economy as intended by the manufacturer.

Replacement is a simple DIY task that can be completed with basic hand tools and is a common item to replace during a routine vehicle service. As this is a routine service item, customers often purchase an oil filter, fuel filter, and fresh engine oil to complete a full service.
