Patrolapart Window Bailey Channel Kit - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ LWB Manual Mirror

Window Bailey Channel Kit - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 LWB Wagon Manual Mirrors

This complete Window Bailey Channel Kit is designed for the front and rear doors of your Nissan Patrol. The bailey channel, also known as the glass run channel, is the felt-lined rubber seal that sits inside the door frame, allowing the window glass to slide up and down smoothly. For 4x4 owners, a worn-out bailey channel is more than just an annoyance; years of sun, dust, and moisture cause the original rubber to perish, becoming hard and brittle. This leads to stiff or jamming windows, excessive rattling on tracks, and a poor seal against the elements.

Ignoring worn bailey channels can lead to further problems. The increased friction puts a heavy strain on your manual window winder mechanism, potentially causing it to fail. A poor seal allows water and dust to enter the door cavity, which can cause rust and damage to internal components like the regulator and speakers. On the road, this results in significant wind noise and an uncomfortable cabin experience.
