Patrolapart Window Bailey Channel Kit - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ Ute & SWB Manual Mirror

Window Bailey Channel Kit - Suit Nissan Patrol GQ SWB & Ute with Manual Mirrors

This Window Bailey Channel Kit is located in the front door frames of your vehicle, providing the essential track that the door glass slides within. It creates a seal against the elements and ensures the window operates smoothly when wound up or down. For 4x4 owners, the original bailey channels on a GQ Patrol have often perished due to age, UV exposure, and the harsh conditions of off-road use. Dust, mud, and water accelerate the wear on the felt lining, leading to a stiff, noisy, or difficult-to-operate window and allowing leaks into the cabin.

Ignoring a worn-out bailey channel can lead to several problems. The increased friction and effort required to wind the window can put excessive strain on the window regulator mechanism, potentially causing it to fail. Persistent water leaks can lead to rust inside the door shell and damage to electrical components like speakers. Furthermore, a poor seal will result in annoying wind noise at highway speeds and allow dust to enter the cabin when on the trails.
