Water Watch Water Trap Separator

Suits: Nissan GU Patrol with ZD30 Common Rail engine.
This kit comes complete with all the bits and pieces required to fit it up to your Patrol. It includes the main mounting bracket, hose, assorted bolts & nuts, and the Instruction manual.

The Water watch system can be fitted in conjuction with the standard water separator, and is best fitted before the factory one if using both. 

It features an audiable alarm when it notices water in the fuel and also has a visual warning. As little as 5ml of water can set off the audable and visual alarms.

Depending on where you have your dual battery located, this can be used with a dual battery in most cases.

The Common Rail engine does not respond well with water in the fuel and in the unfortunate event of this occuring, this can cause big dollars worth of damage to your fuel system. The common rail engines has a high flow rate of fuel through the system to allow for adequate cooling and lubrication of the system, so damage can occur very quickly.

Please read the fitting instructions carefully to ensure this product it fitted and wired up correctly.

Advantages of the Water Watch System:

1. It does not contain a filter like a regular fuel filter to restrict the original performance, that is why you must use this in conjunction with the original fuel filter.
2. It has a patented electronic sensor, not a float level, so perfomance is not affected by the presence of gunk in the fuel around the water sensor.
3. No regular maintenace required, visual checks are recommended and you also have sensors to alert you to water in the system.
