Variable Cam Timing Solenoid - Nissan Patrol Y62 S3-5

Variable Cam Timing Solenoid - Nissan Patrol Y62 Series 3-5

This Variable Cam Timing (VCT) Solenoid is fitted to the engine of your vehicle, typically on the cylinder head or front timing cover. It is an essential electro-hydraulic valve that controls the flow of engine oil to the camshaft phasers. By precisely managing this flow, it adjusts the camshaft timing to optimize engine performance, fuel economy, and emissions across different RPM ranges. A replacement is required when the original solenoid becomes clogged with oil sludge, fails electronically, or starts to leak.

Suits both Left and right side of the engine and this solenoids is located on the smaller timing cover plates on the front of the engine. They are also available separately in our online store.

This part is interchangable with Nissan part number 23796-3RC0A.

There is two of these per vehicle, but SOLD INDIVIDUALLY
