Transfer Case Rebuild Kit TB45, TB48, TD42, ZD30 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Transfer Case Rebuild Kit - Nissan Patrol GU TB45 ZD30 TD42 TB48

Located behind the main gearbox, the transfer case is the heart of your Patrol's 4WD system, responsible for distributing power to both the front and rear axles. This comprehensive rebuild kit provides all the essential bearings, seals, and gaskets required to fully overhaul your transfer case, restoring its quiet and reliable operation.

Over time and with heavy use, the internal bearings and seals can wear out, leading to tell-tale signs like whining or grinding noises, oil leaks, or difficulty engaging and disengaging four-wheel drive. These symptoms indicate that a rebuild is necessary to prevent further damage.

Ignoring a worn transfer case can lead to catastrophic failure. A seized bearing can destroy internal gears and the drive chain, potentially locking up the driveline while you're driving. This can result in a complete loss of power, extensive damage to other drivetrain components, and a costly, inconvenient breakdown.
