Patrolapart Top Radiator Mounting Rubber - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU & Navara D40

Top Radiator Mounting Rubber - Nissan Patrol GU Y61

This top radiator mounting rubber is located at the top of your radiator, where it secures the unit to the radiator support panel. Its job is to hold the radiator firmly in place while isolating it from engine vibrations and the harsh shocks experienced during on and off-road driving.

Ignoring a worn or failed radiator mount allows the radiator to vibrate and move excessively within the engine bay. This puts significant stress on the radiator core, plastic tanks, and hose connections, which can lead to cracks and coolant leaks. A sudden loss of coolant can cause your engine to overheat, risking serious and expensive damage such as a blown head gasket.
