Genuine Nissan Timing Chain YD25 - Nissan Navara D22, D40 & Pathfinder R51

This is a Genuine Nissan single-row timing chain for the YD25DDTI engine, as found in select Nissan Navara D22, D40, and Pathfinder R51 models. Located at the front of the engine behind the timing cover, this chain is a critical component that maintains synchronization between the crankshaft and camshafts to ensure correct engine operation.

Timing chains are service items that require replacement due to stretching and wear over their operational life, or in the event of a guide or tensioner failure. Symptoms of a worn chain can include a rattling noise from the front of the engine, a drop in performance, or an illuminated engine warning light. Timely replacement is crucial to prevent serious internal engine damage.
