This air conditioning hose kit is a crucial component for any Nissan Patrol GU originally equipped with a ZD30 engine that is being converted to a TD42. These hoses connect the A/C compressor on your newly installed TD42 engine to the condenser and firewall. When performing an engine swap, the original ZD30 hoses will not fit due to different compressor locations, hose lengths, and fitting orientations. This custom-made kit provides a direct, professional solution to reinstate your vehicle's air conditioning system without the hassle of custom fabrication.
These A/C Hoses have been manufactured to save people the headache of getting custom hoses made to suit their TD42 conversions.
A direct fit and make the conversion much easier when it comes to hooking up the A/C system.
It is designed to go from a GU TD42 / TB45 Air Con compressor to the TX Valve (Firewall) on the vehicle and to the joiner near the rad support on the passenger side.
Do not suit vehicles with rear air conditioning.
NOTE: A lot of people have been using GQ engines in their GU so the A/C hoses are completely different in design, so you can use a GU TD42 Air Con Compressor, Late GQ / GU air con bracket from block to compressor and these hoses to adapt it into the ZD30 vehicle.
