Spindle Stub Axle CV Seal - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Spindle Stub Axle CV Seal - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 GU Y61

This seal is fitted within the steering knuckle on the front axle of your vehicle. It presses onto the stub axle and provides a critical seal against the back of the Constant Velocity (CV) joint housing.

This is a high-quality aftermarket seal designed to protect your front axle and CV joints from contamination. Over time, the original seal can perish, harden, or be damaged by off-road contaminants like water, mud, and sand. It is essential to replace this seal whenever you are servicing the front wheel bearings or replacing a CV joint to ensure the longevity of your new components.

Failure to replace a worn or damaged seal will allow dirt and water to enter the steering knuckle. This will contaminate the grease, leading to rapid and catastrophic failure of the expensive CV joint and wheel bearings. A failed front axle assembly can leave you stranded, especially in a remote off-road situation.
