RTV Gray Gasket Maker 85g - For Various Automotive Applications

This RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) Gray Gasket Maker is a versatile sealant used to create a reliable, flexible, and leak-proof gasket on various vehicle components. It is commonly applied to oil pans, rocker/valve covers, thermostat housings, water pumps, and differential covers where a formed-in-place gasket is required.

Over time, factory seals and gaskets can become brittle, crack, or compress, leading to fluid leaks. This high-performance sealant is needed to create a new, durable seal during component reassembly, ensuring fluids like oil, coolant, and gear oil stay where they belong. It is an essential item for many engine and driveline repairs.

Ignoring a leaking gasket can lead to serious and costly damage. A persistent oil leak can result in low oil levels, causing engine starvation and catastrophic failure. A coolant leak can lead to overheating, warped cylinder heads, and complete engine seizure. Using a quality gasket maker prevents these issues, protecting your engine and ensuring a clean, professional repair.
