Radiator Overflow Header Tank - Nissan Navara D40/R51 VSK YD25 VQ40

Radiator Overflow Header Tank - Nissan Navara D40/R51 VSK YD25 VQ40

This Radiator Overflow Header Tank is located in the engine bay, connected to the cooling system. It serves as a reservoir for coolant that expands from the radiator as the engine heats up, and allows it to be drawn back into the system as it cools down.

Over time, the original plastic tank is exposed to constant heat cycles, which can cause it to become brittle, discoloured, and prone to cracking. A faulty or leaking overflow tank can lead to a gradual loss of coolant, which is crucial for maintaining optimal engine temperature.
