Patrolapart Aluminium Radiator Cover / Mount Bracket - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Aluminium Radiator Cover / Mounting Bracket - Nissan Patrol GU Narrow Radiator

This radiator cover is the top mounting bracket that secures the narrow-style radiator to the radiator support panel on your Nissan Patrol GU. It plays a crucial role in holding the radiator firmly in place, preventing excessive vibration and movement. For 4x4 owners, a secure radiator is non-negotiable. The original brackets are prone to rust, fatigue, and cracking over time due to constant heat cycles and the harsh conditions of off-road driving. A damaged or weakened bracket can compromise the entire cooling system.

Ignoring a rusted or broken radiator mounting bracket can lead to serious consequences. Without proper support, the radiator can shift and vibrate, causing stress fractures in the plastic tanks, core, or hose connections. This can result in coolant leaks, leading to engine overheating. An overheating engine, especially when you're far from help, can cause catastrophic damage such as a warped cylinder head or blown head gasket, leading to costly and time-consuming repairs.

*Does not come with new radiator mounting rubbers- you can re-use your existing ones, or we also have them available new in our store
