O2 Oxygen Sensor Front Upper TB48 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU 2006+

O2 Oxygen Sensor Front Upper - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 TB48 2006 on

This O2 Oxygen Sensor is fitted to the exhaust system before the catalytic converter. It is commonly referred to as the front, upper, or pre-cat sensor.

This sensor is a vital component of your vehicle's engine management and emissions system. It constantly measures the amount of unburnt oxygen in the exhaust gas and sends this information to the engine's computer (ECU). The ECU then uses this data to precisely adjust the air-fuel mixture for optimal performance, fuel economy, and low emissions. Over time, these sensors can become fouled or fail electronically, requiring replacement to restore engine efficiency.

2006 onwards models have 4 sensors, and the 2 upper ones were also changed after 2006. So please check the pictures of the plugs in the photo before purchasing. The earlier plugs are 4 pin wide. the later are 2 rows of 2 pins.
