NPW Viscous Hub RD28 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

The viscous hub contains a special silicone fluid that expands and locks up as it heats from radiator airflow. This action engages the fan clutch, causing the fan blade to spin faster and pull more air through the radiator to cool the engine. When the engine cools, the fluid contracts, and the fan disengages to reduce engine load and noise.
