NPW Viscous Hub - Nissan Navara D23 2015-2026

This is a high-quality NPW viscous fan hub, designed as a direct replacement for the Nissan Navara D23 NP300 fitted with the 2.3L, M9T, YS23 turbo-diesel engine. Located at the front of the engine, this viscous hub is a fluid-filled coupling that connects the cooling fan to the water pump, regulating the fan's speed based on engine temperature to ensure optimal cooling.

Replacing a faulty viscous hub is considered a moderate workshop job that typically requires removing the radiator and fan shroud for access. While performing this replacement, it's the perfect opportunity to inspect the fan blade for any cracks, check the water pump for leaks or bearing play, and examine the fan belt for signs of wear or damage. This ensures the entire cooling system is in top condition.
