NPW Viscous Hub MNT YD25 - Nissan Navara D40

This is a high-quality aftermarket viscous fan clutch hub from NPW, designed as a direct replacement for Thai-built (MNT) Nissan Navara D40 models fitted with the YD25 engine. Located at the front of the engine, this hub mounts to the water pump, and the engine's main cooling fan bolts directly to its face. It plays a crucial role in regulating fan speed to maintain optimal engine operating temperatures under all conditions.

Common symptoms of a faulty viscous hub include the engine overheating in traffic or when idling, a noticeable roaring noise from the engine bay that rises with RPM, or a fan that can be spun too easily by hand when the engine is hot and switched off. Replacing a worn unit is a straightforward job for a workshop or an experienced DIY mechanic.

Product Features

• Reliable Performance: Manufactured by NPW to meet or exceed OEM specifications for correct fitment and cooling performance, ensuring your engine is protected.
• Protect Your Engine: A quality replacement is crucial. An inferior hub can fail to engage, leading to overheating and potential engine damage, or seize solid, causing excessive noise and destructive stress on the water pump bearing.

Important Notes:

When replacing the hub, it is a good time to inspect the fan blade for cracks and the drive belt for wear. The water pump and thermostat may also be worth replacing at the same time for complete peace of mind.
