This high-performance silicone intake hose is located in the engine bay and connects the intercooler outlet to the engine's intake manifold. It is a direct replacement for the original rubber hose, which is prone to failure.

Factory intakes have been known to suck shut, as they become hot and old or air filters become blocked. A blocked intake hose will result in a significant loss of power, poor fuel economy, and excessive black smoke from the exhaust. It can also cause the vehicle to enter a 'limp mode' for protection or shut off your engine 

Next To The Airbox The Standard Intake Has A Large Plastic Resonator Box Fitted, This Pipe Simply Removes This Box. You Simply Remove The Boost Solenoid, Mount It In A New Spot And Run The Vacuum Hose To Your New Intake Pipe.

Installation Notes

Installation of this pipe requires the complete removal of the standard plastic intake resonator box. The factory boost solenoid must be unmounted and relocated to a suitable new position. The vacuum hose is then connected to the new intake pipe. This kit does not include the required vacuum hose barb. This must be sourced separately to complete the installation. It is a good time to inspect your air filter and other intercooler hoses for wear.
