Genuine Nissan Individual Bonnet Gas Strut - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Individual Bonnet Gas Strut - Nissan Patrol GU Y61

This gas strut is fitted to the bonnet of your vehicle, connecting the body to the bonnet itself to provide lifting assistance and support. This is a high-quality aftermarket replacement for a single, worn-out factory bonnet strut. Over time, the original gas struts lose their pressure, becoming weak and unable to support the weight of the bonnet.

Replacing a failing strut is essential for safety and convenience. A weak strut can fail completely, causing the heavy bonnet to slam shut unexpectedly while you are performing maintenance or checking fluid levels in the engine bay, which can lead to serious injury.

**This is sold INDIVIDUALLY, so you will need to buy 2 to replace both.

Product Features

• Direct OE Replacement: Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the original strut, ensuring a perfect fit with no modifications required.
• High-Quality Construction: Built with a durable steel body and a corrosion-resistant piston rod for long-lasting performance in harsh under-bonnet conditions.
• Reliable Performance: Pressurised with nitrogen gas and featuring high-quality seals to provide smooth, reliable lifting power and hold the bonnet securely open.
• Cost-Effective Solution: Offers excellent performance and reliability at a fraction of the cost of a genuine part.
• Sold Individually: Allows you to replace only the failed strut. However, it is highly recommended to replace struts in pairs to ensure even lifting pressure and prevent premature wear on the new strut.
