Upgrade Intercooler Kit - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 ZD30CR Common Rail

This High Performance Diesel (HPD) intercooler kit is a direct-fit upgrade, mounted in the factory top-mount position on your Nissan Patrol. It is designed to replace the standard, often inefficient factory intercooler with a high-flow, high-efficiency unit, delivering significant improvements in performance and engine reliability.

HPD’s 4WD Nissan Patrol GU ZD30 CRD intercooler kits have been designed as the factory intercoolers are prone to leaking from where the end tanks are pressed together to the core with a rubber O-ring between, hence the reason why they do and are very likely to leak and cause engine running issues. HPD have designed a direct replacement larger and more efficient intercooler kit with a 9” thermo fan bolted underneath to keep cool at low driving speeds.

The factory ZD30 intercooler core size is 170x250x60mm, giving a surface area of 425cm­², and a volume of 2550cc.Our intercooler measures 280x240x76mm, giving an improved surface area of 672cm², and a larger volume of 5107cc. That's a 58% increase in surface area cooling, and DOUBLE the charge air cooling volume!

HPD’s intercooler kit improves torque and power just on its own but really show’s it potential in keeping cooler intake temps and egt’s when engine tuning modifications come into play. These top mount intercoolers are great right up to 120kw’s at the wheels.
