Horn Relay - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ, Y61 GU, Navara D22, D23 & D40 & Pathfinder R51

Horn Relay - Nissan Patrol & Navara

This Horn Relay is typically located in the main fuse and relay box within the engine bay or sometimes under the dashboard of your vehicle. It serves as an essential switch in the horn's electrical circuit, using a small electrical signal from the horn button on your steering wheel to activate a high-current circuit that powers the horn itself.

A replacement is necessary when the original relay fails due to age, corrosion, or an internal electrical fault. Common symptoms of a faulty relay include a horn that doesn't work at all, works intermittently, or a faint clicking sound from the relay box when the horn button is pressed, but the horn does not sound.
