This heavy-duty tie rod end is a critical component of your vehicle's steering system, fitted to the driver's side of the main tie rod that runs behind the front differential. It connects the tie rod to the steering knuckle, allowing the front wheels to pivot and steer accurately. This 555 replacement part is an essential upgrade for restoring steering precision and vehicle safety.

Over time and with exposure to rough conditions, the original ball and socket joint within the tie rod end wears out. This wear creates excessive play, resulting in a vague, sloppy steering feel and an audible knocking sound from the front end.
