Rear Adjustable Panhard rod Made of 33mm O/D Solid Bar. Suits: Coil Sprung Nissan GU Patrol Wagons from 4/00 ON & Some Late GU Utes (RARE). The Difference between the Early and the Late models is the size of the bush at the Chassis end. If the Bushes are the same size at both ends then it is an early Arm, If the Bush at the Chassis end is Obviously Larger then it is the Later type of arm.
These Panhards have the Fine Pitch Thread, Which helps to stop them from rattling loose on corrugations etc. They are Also fitted with Rubber Bushes NOT Urethane Bushes.
It is recommended to fit an adjustable Panhard rod to a car lifted over 2" However the rear Panhard rod is a Weak link, and can be replaced no matter what lift you have.
As you lift the car, the panhard rod Effectively becomes shorter, this Pulls the Axle Housing to one side,. By fitting an adjustable Panhard rod you can centralize the Diff Housing back into the middle of the car.
They are easy to fit with basic Mechanical aptitude and a few Tools.
