Patrolapart Harmonic Balancer ZD30 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU 2007+

This harmonic balancer is fitted to the front of your Nissan Patrol's ZD30CR engine. It's a crucial component responsible for damping torsional vibrations from the crankshaft, ensuring smooth engine operation. If your harmonic balancer is failing, you might notice excessive engine vibration, a knocking noise, or even belt slippage.

Ignoring a failing harmonic balancer can lead to serious engine damage, potentially resulting in a cracked crankshaft and a hefty repair bill. Replacing it is essential to maintain the health of your engine.

Product Features

• OEM-Standard Performance: Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment standards, ensuring correct engine balance and protection. Using an inferior quality balancer risks improper damping, which can lead to catastrophic crankshaft failure.
• Durable Construction: Built from high-quality materials to provide a long and reliable service life, capable of withstanding harsh Australian driving conditions.
• Restores Smooth Operation: Effectively dampens torsional vibrations from the crankshaft, contributing to smoother engine performance and preventing costly damage.

Installation Notes

While this is a direct-fit part, installation is a moderate workshop job that often requires specialised pulley holding and pulling tools. It is good practice to inspect the drive belts and front crankshaft seal when replacing the balancer.
