Genuine Safari Snorkel - Nissan D22 Navara YD25 Dual Battery

Genuine Safari Snorkel - Nissan D22 Navara YD25 Dual Battery

This Safari Snorkel is designed to fit the passenger side guard and A-pillar of your vehicle. A snorkel relocates your engine's air intake from a low and vulnerable position under the bonnet to a much higher and safer location. This ensures a constant source of cool, clean, and dry air for your engine, improving both performance and longevity. A snorkel is a crucial upgrade for any 4WD venturing off-road. It provides essential protection against water ingestion during river crossings and reduces the amount of dust entering the air filter on convoy or dirt road driving. This specific model has been engineered to perfectly accommodate vehicles already fitted with a dual battery system, ensuring a clean and professional installation. Without a snorkel, a single water crossing can become a terminal event for your engine. If water is sucked through the factory air intake, it can cause 'hydrolock'—a catastrophic failure where the engine's internal components bend or break under the force of trying to compress water.
