Genuine Nissan Rocker Cover Blowby Breather Hose TD42 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Rocker Cover Blowby Breather Hose - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU TD42T

This hose is fitted to the rocker cover on your engine and connects to the intake pipe, just before the turbo. Its job is to vent crankcase pressure, or 'blowby', back into the engine to be burnt. Exposure to engine heat and oil fumes causes the original rubber to become hard, brittle, and eventually crack. A failed hose will leak oil all over the side of your engine and can cause a vacuum leak, which allows dust and unfiltered air directly into your turbo and engine, leading to poor performance and potential damage.

Features & Benefits

• Made from a quality, oil-resistant rubber compound designed for the high-temperature engine bay environment.
• Specifically moulded for the TD42T engine, which ensures a direct-fit replacement with no modifications required.
• Provides secure fitment on both the rocker cover and intake pipe outlets, preventing messy oil leaks and harmful vacuum leaks.
