Genuine Nissan Transmission ATF 5L - Nissan Patrol Y62

Genuine Nissan Y62 Transmission ATF 5L - For Nissan Patrol Y62

This is Genuine Nissan Matic-S Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF), designed specifically for the 7-speed automatic transmission in your Nissan Patrol Y62. ATF is the lifeblood of your transmission, responsible for lubricating internal components, dissipating heat, and providing the hydraulic pressure needed for smooth gear changes. For a heavy 4x4 like the Y62, especially one used for towing or challenging off-road driving, the transmission works incredibly hard, generating significant heat. Over time, this heat breaks down the fluid, reducing its ability to protect vital components. Replacing your ATF at scheduled intervals with the correct genuine fluid is essential to maintain transmission performance and ensure long-term reliability.

The risk: What happens to the vehicle if this problem is ignored? Using old, degraded, or incorrect transmission fluid is a leading cause of transmission issues. Ignoring regular ATF changes can lead to transmission overheating, poor shift quality, gear slippage, and internal wear on clutches and seals. Ultimately, this neglect can result in catastrophic transmission failure, leading to an extremely expensive repair or replacement.
