Genuine Nissan Tensioner Bracket TB45, TB48, YD25 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU, Navara D22 & D40 & Pathfinder R51

Genuine Alternator Adjust Bolt Bracket - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU TB48 TB45

Located on the front of the engine, this bracket is what the alternator's main tensioner bolt screws into. It's the key component that allows you to increase or decrease tension on the fan belt. These brackets are put under constant tension and vibration and can fail by cracking or having the thread strip out. A failed bracket makes it impossible to correctly tension the drive belt, which can cause serious problems.

If you can't tension your belt, you'll get belt squeal and insufficient drive to your accessories. This can lead to a flat battery from an underperforming alternator, engine overheating from the water pump not spinning correctly, or a loss of power steering. Don't risk getting stranded; replace a damaged bracket straight away.
