Genuine Nissan Wiper Arm Pivot Right Hand Side - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Wiper Arm Pivot Right Hand Side - Patrol GU Y61

This genuine Nissan wiper arm pivot is located beneath the cowl panel at the base of the windscreen and serves as the crucial connection point for the right-hand (driver's side) wiper arm. It is a vital part of the wiper linkage system that allows the wiper arm to pivot correctly and clear your windscreen.

Over time, the internal bushes of the pivot can wear out from constant use and exposure to the elements, leading to excessive free play or seizure. This is a common replacement item required to restore the correct function of your windscreen wipers and ensure clear visibility in all weather conditions.

Failure to replace a worn or seized wiper pivot can result in the wiper arm juddering, skipping across the glass, or not clearing the screen effectively. In severe cases, a seized pivot can put excessive strain on the wiper motor, causing it to burn out and leading to a complete and dangerous failure of the wiper system.
