Genuine Nissan Timing Cover Plastic Type YD25 - Nissan Navara D40

This replacement plastic timing cover is designed for Nissan Navara D40 models fitted with the YD25DDTI engine, specifically Thai-built (MNT) versions from approximately 2009 to 2011. Mounted to the front of the engine block, this cover encloses and protects the timing chain, guides, and tensioner from dirt and debris.

The original plastic timing cover can become brittle and warp over time due to constant exposure to engine heat cycles. This degradation often leads to cracks and causes persistent oil leaks. This quality aftermarket cover is manufactured to meet OEM specifications for fitment and performance, providing a durable and reliable solution to restore your engine's seal and prevent oil contamination in the engine bay.

Product Features

• High-Grade Construction: Made from a durable, temperature-resistant polymer designed to withstand high engine bay temperatures and resist the warping and cracking common with aged original parts.
• Restores Engine Seal: Effectively resolves oil leaks from a cracked or warped cover, protecting critical timing components from contamination.
• Precision Fitment: Engineered to strict tolerances to ensure a perfect seal. This cover is made from high-grade materials to prevent the warping and leaks often associated with lower-quality alternatives.

Replacing the timing cover is an advanced mechanical task requiring significant disassembly of the front of the engine, including the removal of drive belts, the harmonic balancer, and other accessories. A comprehensive tool kit with a harmonic balancer puller and torque wrench is necessary. During this service, it is highly recommended to install a new front crankshaft seal and gaskets, and to inspect the timing components for wear.
