This is the Genuine Nissan Timing Chain Tensioner O-ring. It sits between the timing chain tensioner and the engine block. This O-ring is crucial for maintaining correct oil pressure to the timing chain tensioner. Neglecting to replace a hardened or damaged O-ring can lead to oil leaks and reduced tensioner performance, potentially causing timing chain rattle or even failure.

This NDK-spec O-ring is used on both timing chain tensioners, meaning two are required per vehicle for a complete service. It can also be found on the front of the timing cover, located behind the Cam Sprocket Cover Assembly on the passenger side (LH) of the engine. The O-ring for the driver side (RH) is a different part (150662Y510) and is available separately.
