Genuine Nissan Timing Chain Guide (Small) TB48 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Timing Chain Guide (Small) - Y61 GU Patrol TB48

This timing chain guide is fitted to the engine inside timing case. This Short Straight guide is the one for the top of the timing system. It ensures correct tension and alignment of the timing chain, preventing premature wear and tear of the engine. If this guide breaks it can cause rattling noises from the timing chain and eventually lead to catastrophic engine failure.

Driving with a broken timing chain guide is a gamble, you risk the timing chain slipping, causing major engine damage and leaving you stranded.
