Genuine Nissan Tacho Sensor / Crank Angle Sensor 3 Wire TD42 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Tacho Sensor / Crank Angle Sensor 3 Wire - Patrol GU Y61 TD42TI

Located on the engine's timing gear case, this Genuine Nissan Tacho Sensor (also known as a Crank Angle Sensor) reads the engine's rotational speed directly from the injector pump gear. This signal is critical for the ECU to manage fuel injection and timing, and it also drives the tachometer (tacho) on your dashboard. Due to constant exposure to engine heat and vibration, these sensors can degrade and fail over time, sending incorrect signals or no signal at all. For a 4x4 owner who relies on their vehicle's performance and reliability, replacing a faulty sensor is essential maintenance to ensure your TD42TI engine runs exactly as it should.
