Genuine Nissan Tacho Crank Angle Sensor YD25 - Nissan Navara D22 & D40

This is a Genuine Nissan crankshaft angle sensor, designed to suit Nissan Navara D22 and D40 models, and Pathfinder R51 models equipped with the YD25 engine. It is a critical component of your engine management system, reading the rotational speed and position of the crankshaft. This data is sent to the vehicle's computer (ECU) to accurately control ignition timing and fuel injection.

Located on the lower half of the engine, its exact position varies by model: on D22 Navaras, it's found on the driver-side of the bellhousing, while on D40 Navara and R51 Pathfinder models, it's on the passenger-side at the rear of the sump. Over time, constant exposure to engine heat and vibration can cause these sensors to fail, resulting in an incorrect or lost signal and leading to significant running issues.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Quality: Manufactured to OEM specifications for perfect fitment and performance. Using a genuine part ensures the ECU receives a precise, reliable signal, unlike cheaper aftermarket sensors that can fail prematurely and leave you stranded.
• Direct-Fit Replacement: Engineered as a direct swap for the original factory sensor. No modifications are required for installation.
• Durable & Secure: Built to withstand the harsh environment of the engine bay and includes the correct factory plug for a secure electrical connection, preventing intermittent faults from loose connectors.

Installation Notes

Installation is straightforward for a competent mechanic, though access to the sensor can be tight depending on the model. Basic hand tools are all that's required for the job. No other parts are typically needed for installation as this sensor is a complete unit with the correct plug.
