This is a Genuine Nissan exhaust manifold stud, designed to secure the exhaust manifold directly to the cylinder head on Nissan Navara D22, D40, and Pathfinder R51 models equipped with the YD25DDTI engine. Please note, these are high-tensile steel studs sold individually, and a total of eight are required to mount the manifold to the cylinder head.

Due to constant exposure to extreme heat cycles and the elements, the original studs can corrode, stretch, or snap over time. A failed stud will cause an exhaust leak, which often presents as a distinct ticking noise from the engine bay (especially when cold), a smell of exhaust fumes in the cabin, or a noticeable reduction in engine performance and fuel economy.

Installation Notes
