Genuine Nissan Stop Light Assembly In Rear Door - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Stop Light Assembly In Rear Door - Nissan Patrol GU Wagon

This genuine Nissan high-level stop light assembly is located in the upper rear door of your GU Patrol Wagon. As a critical safety component, it provides an elevated, clear warning to drivers behind you when you apply the brakes. Over time, the original plastic lens can become brittle and cracked from UV exposure, or the seal can fail, allowing water and dust to enter the housing. This can lead to blown bulbs, corrosion, and a dim or non-functional light.

A faulty high-level stop light is a major safety concern, significantly reducing your vehicle's visibility to other road users and increasing the risk of a rear-end collision, especially in heavy traffic or poor weather conditions. It can also cause your vehicle to fail a roadworthy inspection, resulting in a defect notice and potential fines.
