Genuine Nissan Right Timing Chain Tension Guide VK56 - Nissan Patrol Y62

Genuine Nissan Right Timing Chain Tension Guide - Nissan Patrol Y62 VK56

This is the right-hand side (driver's side on a right-hand drive vehicle) timing chain tension guide located within your Nissan Patrol Y62's VK56 engine. These guides are essential for maintaining proper timing chain tension, preventing chain slap and ensuring smooth engine operation. They cop a beating and are known to fail.

Ignoring a worn or damaged timing chain tension guide can lead to serious engine damage, including bent valves, piston damage, and even complete engine failure. Replacing these components when worn is cheap insurance to protect your investment!
