Genuine Nissan Rear Shock Absorber Nut - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Rear Shock Absorber Nut - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU

This is the genuine Nissan nut that secures the top of the rear shock absorber to the upper mount on the chassis. These nuts are often seized solid, damaged during removal, or can be lost during suspension work. Failure to replace a missing or damaged nut will result in the shock absorber coming loose. This can cause an annoying knocking sound, poor vehicle handling, and can lead to damage of the shock absorber bush or the vehicle's mounting point.
