Genuine Nissan Rear Muffler Mount Rubber - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU 1997-2017

This is a genuine Nissan exhaust rubber mount specifically designed to support the rear muffler on the Nissan Patrol GU Y61. Located at the rear of the vehicle, this mount secures the muffler to the underbody, isolating it from the chassis and absorbing vibrations from the exhaust system.

Over time, the original rubber mount is exposed to constant heat, oil, and vibration, which causes it to perish, harden, and crack. A common sign of a failed mount is a rattling or banging noise from the rear of the vehicle as the exhaust moves excessively. Replacing a worn mount with this genuine part will restore the stability of your exhaust system.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Part: Manufactured to OEM specifications for perfect fitment, performance, and durability.
• High-Quality Compound: Made from a premium rubber compound engineered to resist heat, oil, and harsh Australian conditions.
• Noise & Vibration Reduction: Restores the secure mounting of your exhaust, eliminating rattles and vibrations caused by a worn mount.
• Direct Replacement: Designed as a direct, bolt-in replacement for the original part, ensuring a straightforward installation.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically straightforward and can be completed by a competent DIY mechanic with basic hand tools. Access to the underside of the vehicle is required, which may mean safely raising it on stands or a hoist. It is highly recommended to inspect all other exhaust mounts and hangers at the same time. These are often replaced as a set to ensure consistent performance and longevity across the entire system.
