Genuine Nissan Rear Engine Mount / Gearbox Mount VK56 - Nissan Patrol Y62

Genuine Nissan Rear Engine Mount / Gearbox Mount - Nissan Patrol Y62 VK56

This is the rear engine mount, also commonly known as the gearbox mount, that connects the rear of the transmission to the chassis crossmember. The original rubber mount is prone to perishing, cracking, and collapsing from heat, age, and oil exposure. A failed mount allows the entire engine and gearbox assembly to move excessively, which can cause severe driveline vibrations and clunking noises during acceleration or gear changes. Leaving a collapsed mount unfixed puts extra strain on other components like the front engine mounts, exhaust system, and driveshafts, leading to further problems.

Features & Benefits

• Genuine Nissan Quality: Manufactured from high-quality rubber and steel to Nissan's exact specifications for maximum vibration absorption and service life.
• Restores Smoothness: A new mount ensures the driveline is properly supported, eliminating clunks and reducing vibrations felt in the cabin for a better driving feel.
• Direct-Fit Replacement: As a genuine part, it ensures a secure fitment with no modifications required for a hassle-free installation.
• Protects Driveline Components: By properly securing the gearbox, this mount prevents excess movement that can cause premature wear on other expensive parts.
