Genuine Nissan Radiator Thermal Switch Sensor Left Side TD42 - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Radiator Thermal Switch Sensor Left Side - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 TD42 & TD42T

This thermal switch sensor is located on the radiator and is responsible for monitoring your coolant temperature. Its job is to activate the auxiliary cooling fan when the temperature rises to a set point, typically during slow-speed off-road work or when towing. A faulty or failed sensor will not activate this fan, which can cause your engine to overheat. Ignoring a failed sensor can lead to significant engine damage, such as a blown head gasket or a warped cylinder head, resulting in costly repairs.
