Genuine Nissan Radiator Hose to Reservoir Tank TB42 - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ

Genuine Nissan Radiator Hose to Reservoir Tank - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 TB42

This genuine Nissan hose connects the radiator filler neck directly to the coolant reservoir tank (overflow bottle). This hose is essential for the proper function of your cooling system, allowing coolant to expand into the reservoir when the engine is hot and be drawn back into the radiator as it cools, maintaining the correct fluid level and pressure.

Over time, exposure to constant heat cycles and coolant chemicals causes the original rubber hose to become hard, brittle, and prone to cracking or splitting. This is a common point of failure and should be replaced as part of your vehicle's preventative maintenance schedule.

If this hose fails, it can lead to a significant coolant leak. Losing coolant will cause your engine to overheat, which can result in severe and expensive damage, such as a warped cylinder head or a blown head gasket, potentially leaving you stranded.
