Genuine Nissan Pressure Sensor DPF - Nissan Navara D23 2015-2026

This is a genuine Nissan pressure sensor for the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) system, specifically designed for the Nissan Navara D23 NP300. It is primarily suited to Thai-built models with a VIN starting with MNT and equipped with the 2.3L YS23 diesel engine. Located in the engine bay, this sensor connects via two hoses to the DPF assembly, where its primary function is to measure exhaust backpressure.

The data from this sensor is sent to the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) to determine the level of soot saturation within the DPF. This information is critical for initiating the DPF regeneration cycle, or 'burn-off', at the correct intervals. A faulty or failed sensor can send incorrect readings, leading to a persistent DPF warning light, improper burn-off cycles, reduced engine power, or the vehicle entering limp mode.

Product Features

• Genuine Nissan Part: Manufactured to OEM specifications for guaranteed fitment, performance, and accurate communication with the vehicle's ECU.
• Precise DPF Operation: Provides accurate backpressure data, ensuring the DPF regeneration cycle functions as intended by the manufacturer.
• Fault Resolution: A direct replacement for a failed unit to clear DPF-related engine fault codes and extinguish dashboard warning lights.
• System Protection: Helps prevent the DPF from becoming permanently blocked, protecting you from extremely expensive exhaust system repairs and vehicle downtime.

Installation Notes

Installation is a straightforward task for an experienced home mechanic or any automotive workshop. Access to the sensor and its hose connections in the engine bay is generally good. It is a good idea to inspect the connecting hoses for any cracks, perishing, or blockages and replace them if necessary to ensure the new sensor functions correctly.
