Genuine Nissan Plastic Guard Liner Outer Grommet Nut - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

Genuine Nissan Plastic Guard Liner Outer Grommet Nut - Nissan Patrol Y61 GU

This is a genuine Nissan plastic grommet nut for the outer guard liner, commonly used on Nissan Patrol Y61 GU models. It secures the outer edge of the plastic guard liner to the vehicle's body. These grommets are prone to damage and can go missing especially after off road use or panel work, it's a good idea to replace them to reduce vibrations, and ensure the liner is properly secured.

If these grommets are broken or missing, the guard liner can become loose, causing it to rub against the tyre or other components, leading to wear and potential damage to both the liner and the vehicle.
