The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve is a critical emissions component bolted to the intake system on your ZD30 Common Rail engine. Its job is to feed a measured amount of exhaust gas back into the engine to lower emissions. The problem is, these valves get clogged with soot and carbon, causing them to stick open or closed. A stuck EGR valve is bad news for your engine. You'll notice a rough idle, poor performance, and you'll be using more fuel. If it's ignored, you risk higher engine temperatures and potential long-term engine damage. Replacing a faulty EGR valve is a must to get your Patrol running right.
This valve is specifically for the Common Rail (CRD) ZD30 engine, typically found in models from 2007 onwards. It will not fit the earlier Direct Injection (DI) models. Please contact us with your VIN details if you require further assistance to confirm fitment.
