Brake Load Sensing Proportioning Valve - Genuine Nissan Patrol Y61 GU Wagon

This little fella, the Brake Load Sensing Valve, is a critical part of your Patrol's braking system. You'll find it mounted to the chassis near the rear axle, with a linkage that connects to your diff. Its job is to figure out how much weight you're carrying in the back and adjust the rear braking pressure to match. This stops your rear wheels from locking up when you're empty and gives you the stopping power you need when you're loaded to the hilt with gear.

NOTE: This is different to leaf spring & coil springs utes.
